Bando-Piano
Piano-System
unisonoric, logical
(Collection Oriwohl, Nr. IV-60)
Manufacture: Co. Joseph Wiesner (Munich) around 1935
Draft: presumably Gebrüder Wiesner, presumably around 1910, (H: 28cm)
Range: C - fis3
One of the early models with transfer of the piano system to the bandonion.
The problem with the bandonion is the 'missing' thumb, especially for legato playing beyond four fingers. The non-applicable thumb underset from the piano makes it difficult or even impossible to play tied notes.
