Another Bandonion with a piano keyboard from various manufacturers. In contrast to the previous instrument, there are not two identical tone rows on the left side with different choirs, but the 2nd piano row contains an additional octave.
Walter Pörschmann (1903-59), one of the most famous German bandonion players of his time, composer and arranger, composed for example the well-known "Schiffsjungentanz" in 1933.
Left side:
Range C - a1
The system consists of two recognisable piano rows and begins at the bottom of the inner row 1 with the major C up to the minor a.
The outer row 3 begins at the bottom with a repetition of the minor octave from c and ends at the upper end of the manual with a1.
The minor octave is therefore exists twice.
Right side:
Range g - e3
The keyboard begins here with g on the outer row 3 at the top and leads downwards with increasing pitch down to e1.
The inner row 1 begins at the top with the repetition from g1 and ends with e3.
The direction of the sound is therefore in the opposite direction to the left manual: from top to bottom and from outside to inside.
A letter from the manufacturer Alfred Arnold dated 14 January 1937 to E. G. Naumann, the director of the Sternchen Conservatory in Berlin. Walter Pörschmann is described as the designer of the tone assignment (i.e. tone stock, repetition tones, tone direction) of the model shown here:
"... You know my piano bandonion, which was invented by Mr Walter Pörschmann with regard to the tone assignment..."

In order to advertise certain instruments, they were also prominently mentioned on the sheet music of the latest sound film hits. As with this edition, which only seems playable for a 'piano bandonium'. But this requires an instrument written with U. (1930s)
