Akkordion (Deutsche Bauform)

System: gleich- und bisonoric

(Collection Oriwohl, Nr. 307)

Manufacture: Co. Heinrich Suhr (Neuenrade) around 1910
(zinc plates with steel reeds; 4,6 kg)

The starting point for accordion making was the city of Vienna around 1829. New innovations have been developed here time and again, such as unisonoric instruments with button fingerboards and developments towards the mechanical standard bass.

Vienna always interacted with later manufacturing centres in France, Italy, Germany and Bohemia.
